Official Description

"Don't Hit Me!" is a hyper-casual mobile game designed to challenge players with time-sensitive navigation tasks. Developed using Unreal Engine and Android Studio, the game requires players to reach their destination within a set time limit while avoiding pedestrians and various obstacles. This blend of urgency and precision provides an engaging and exhilarating gameplay experience. 

You have to get to work on time! You have been late to work several times and this is the last chance you have! Make sure you reach your destination within the time frame to advance in-game and discover new levels and earn in-game currency. With said currency, you can unlock perks, vehicles and more!

Game Mechanics:

• Health: Avoid collisions to maintain health. 
• Time: Reach your destination before time runs out. 
• Fuel: Manage fuel to avoid running out. 
• Objective: Get to work on time before health, time, or fuel reaches zero. 
• Game Over: Hitting a pedestrian or too many objects results in game over. 
• Controls: Use a touchscreen virtual joystick and buttons for intuitive gameplay. 

Key Features: "Don't Hit Me!" features cartoon-style urban environments, challenging obstacles, and intuitive controls. Players must strategically manage their time and navigate bustling streets to reach their destination within the time limit. 

Technologies Used: - Unreal Engine & Android Studio 

Development Process: The team leader's vision for "Don't Hit Me!" sparked the project, and it became one of the top three popular game ideas when presented in class. Our team of seven—three designers and four programmers—embraced the concept and joined the development journey. We faced challenges like optimizing mobile performance and creating realistic AI behaviors, but through collaboration and perseverance, we overcame these hurdles and delivered an engaging game experience. 

Future Plans: We plan on officially releasing "Don't Hit Me!" on the Play Store and Apple Store soon. Stay tuned for updates!
